Articulate Me

Today I keep the video on Zoom off.

I don’t want to be seen.

I lay down.

The teacher invites us to take up space.

Tears begin to flow.

I feel the gentle undulations of my breast bone rocking back and forth.

Tender.

Vulnerable.

I feel myself being articulated.

Being imbued with love in the spaces that resist softening.

The places vacant of love light.

My movement becomes my prayer. My devotional surrender.

Articulate me love.

Articulate me deep presence.

Express the Essence of who I am.

Express the Essence of who I am through my hardened layers of shells.

Articulate me love.

Articulate me with the breath of your consciousness.

Tender.

Vulnerable.

Articulations.

Our bodies are the most dense form with which we communicate. We can more easily change our thoughts and even our emotions. The body requires a commitment to our practice for it to habitually articulate the love energy and presence we truly desire to express. Inviting God, Spirit, Universe, Love to breathe you as you move is a practice of surrender.

Today, while you are washing the dishes, in a Zoom meeting for work or walking the dog - see where you can allow yourself to be articulated.

A special thank you Brittany Coughlan Murphy, Katrina Orr and Lee Melamed at Fine Tune Pilates for their generosity and compassion, guiding my body + heart + soul through this transformational time in my life.

With Deep Love + Reverence,

Billy
