be Tender in the direction of Peace
You are love
feeling
a
moment
of
intense
anger.
What is the anger trying to inform you of?
Feel it.
Allow it.
Be tender.
Feel yourself fully.
How am I being with what is?
What is arising within me and within those around me? Am I controlling in Fear or Nurturing in Love?
How are those around me being with what is arising within me? Are they controlling in Fear or Nurturing in Love?
How am I relating with what is arising in me in response to how others are relating with what is arising in me? Am I controlling in Fear or Nurturing in Love?
Oppression. One of the definitions according to the Merriam dictionary, is a state of being subject to unjust treatment or control. With further exploration I find that the word unjust has roots in the word dishonesty.
The state of being subject to control or dishonesty.
When I started writing this I wanted to articulate my experience of the path from feeling an emotion such as rage or anger to experiencing Peace.
Not exactly where I arrived. (My coach Laurie Gerber at Handel Group is nodding her head I told you so!)
The truth of the truth is that there cannot be Peace without Truth.
And the journey to discovering the deeper Truth, to relinquishing control and showing up with ourselves and others on the path to dismantling oppression will require of us to be consistently responding and relating with what is arising in ourselves and in those around us by being with what is with our Fierce Nurturing Tender Love.
Begin by noticing if there’s something you’re trying to control in your experience or someone else’s.
Can you relate with what is arising with greater tenderness? What are the values with which you relate with?
You may be honest about what’s arising like a weather reporter is about tomorrow’s weather. What’s the deeper Truth?
Intimacy is uncomfortable. It’s where we are being asked to go. You have a choice in how you relate with and to the frequencies and vibrations of life.
Intimacy is a relational experience. You are not alone.
The Truth Shall Set You Free and we’re not Free Until Everyone’s Free.
(Side note: Antonyms of Oppression are: Bliss, Ecstasy, Joy, Happiness)

“We have to consciously study how to be tender with each other until it becomes a habit.”
